FOUNDATION PHASE TEACHERS
FOUNDATION PHASE- MATHEMATICS CONTENT & ASSESSMENT.
This course addresses content and pacing as well as the assessment required by CAPS and ANA. A very practical and hands-on one-day workshop! All Foundation Phase Teachers will benefit! Facilitated by Janet van Heerden in 5 Provinces.
FOUNDATION PHASE HANDWRITING.
This one-day course addresses Grade 1 printing through to Grade 3 cursive and is offered by READ Education facilitators. Highly practical and includes developing classroom charts and other classroom aids.
ADAPTATION & DIFFERENTIATION OF CURRICULUM.
This two-day course addresses means of differentiating curriculum content in Foundation, Intermediate and Senior Phases. Practicality is the key to this course intended to enhance the classroom practice of Special School teachers. Would also be very valuable for other teachers interested in inclusive education.
PROMOTING THINKING SKILLS IN INTERMEDIATE AND SENIOR PHASE LEARNERS
This two day seminar to promote thinking skills to enable your learners to achieve improved results in assessments and ANA’s. Book early - only 30 spaces for this Friday/Saturday seminar.
For all of the above, programmes and bookings slips will be sent out within the next few days by all Provinces. They will detail the courses offered in each specific Province from the full range listed above. This is a DBE/Trade Union Collaboration initiative and these course are open to all teachers regardless of Union affiliation. Full-day and two- day courses are catered, all courses, seminars and workshops are free of charge.
