Post: Senior Admin Officer

Description of Post: Inter-alia IT Administrator, assistant to professional staff, event co-ordinator;  co-ordination of union structures;  distribution of incoming and outgoing correspondence/communication;  management of office diary; compilation of membership mailing lists/mobile numbers; procurement of office equipment/furniture/stationery; office purchases; building maintenance; preparation and typing of documents-letters-minutes-notices of meetings, national and provincial reports; travel and accommodation arrangements; oversee catering and venue arrangements for meetings; co-ordination of delegates to represent organisation on departmental structures; oversee printing, mailing and distribution of printed material; general functions as allocated.
